Celebrating International Women’s Day with "Mar & Tierra”. A jewellery collection created by our mother.

This International Women’s day we want to celebrate our mother, who continues to inspire us everyday. We want to emphasize more than ever, our heritage, tradition, and the enduring power of feminine creativity.

Our mother, a true artisan at heart, pursued her passion for the arts by studying Fine Arts and Restoration. Growing up, we've witnessed her creative genius firsthand as she breathed new life into furniture found at flea markets or discarded on street corners, transforming them into works of art once again. She also ventured into designing collections of handbags, tableware, and jewelry. And now, we're thrilled to present a jewelry collection she's crafted especially for Romualda, inspired by the beauty of flowers, seeds, and the transformative power of nature.

Each piece in this collection is one-of-a-kind and a testament to her artistic vision and meticulous craftsmanship. Using a blend of materials including silver, crystal, wood, and textiles, she imbues every jewel with a unique charm, paying meticulous attention to every detail.

The pieces embody a labor of love and devotion. Each creation is a testament to patience and perseverance, as the intricate process behind them unfolds slowly, requiring long hours and constant dedication. These pieces hold a profound significance, drawing inspiration from the boundless beauty of both the sea and land. Transporting you through a delicate fusion of marine and vegetation backgrounds, the collection captures the essence of natural harmony and balance.

Central to the collection are the mesmerizing crystals, painstakingly handmade and custom-designed by an Argentinian artisan. With hues ranging from vibrant greens to coral shades, these crystals infuse each piece with a touch of ethereal beauty.

From initial sketches in pencil to meticulous work with wax and the intricate lost wax process, each step is executed with precision and care. The journey involves crafting molds, refining individual pieces, and painstakingly welding and polishing them to perfection. Utilizing sterling silver, each piece is meticulously filed and shined to reveal its inherent brilliance.

Adding to the allure are antique ribbons sourced from a 1920s dealer, imbuing the collection with a timeless elegance that transcends decades. These ribbons, interchangeable and aged over 80 years, bring a sense of history and nostalgia to each creation.

In a delightful play of textures and materials, handwoven cotton threads intertwine with silver and glass, creating a symphony of greens and corals. The transparent crystals, skillfully juxtaposed with silver, add depth and dimension, while a myriad of colors adds vibrancy and allure. 

Hand-carved and hand-painted wooden beads, adorned with striped motifs from the 20th century, add a touch of artisanal charm to the collection.
