Yesterday we celebrated Mother’s Day in advance with a very special workshop in collaboration with Casa Maricruz — a project we truly love and with which we share many values: a passion for handmade pieces, for the unique, and for moments of togetherness. Casa Maricruz is a space for creation and community centered around ceramics, where each piece becomes an excuse to gather, create, and celebrate.

Our creative director, Cris, led the workshop, where we focused on painting fired clay vases from Puente del Arzobispo. These beautiful pieces came with a story of their own: a small measuring mistake had left Casa Maricruz with 100 unglazed vases — now given a second life through this collaboration. Our guests had the chance to transform them with their own hands, adding color, emotion, and intention to every brushstroke. At Romualda, we like to think we’re experts at turning little accidents into something truly beautiful.

The idea was simple and beautiful: to give something made with our hands, just like we did when we were little. Each guest painted her own vase, with personal touches, joyful colors, and lots of love — to surprise her mother this Sunday with a unique, heartfelt gift.
